Arts Practitioner Statement

I am currently Director and Founder of Dance Core, a not-for-profit centre, off the ground dance company which also run Heads Up! a junior dance company, a qualified Youth worker and freelance dance artist trained to a Post Graduate level with the Jasmine Vardimon Company in dance and physical theatre. I love to be a part of projects that naturally move me and where I feel I can add and support to the vision of the choreographer/director. I work extremely hard with a high level of professionalism. I can change and alter quickly according to instructions and work well under pressure. I am contemporary trained and a natural freestyler in street and body popping. However, I have choreographed for pop, lyrical, ballet and musical theatre routines as well and can pick up styles quickly. My main strength is my movement memory. I get on well with other people and enjoy learning new skills. I thrive in a creative environment and am happy working with dancers and those in other art form
