Arts Practitioner Statement

I am a singing workshop facilitator specialising in English Folk Song. I have 10 years experience teaching children and adults of all ages, abilities and backgrounds in a wide range of settings including special needs schools and clubs, immigration removal centres, community choirs, parent and under 5s groups, schools, higher education, further education and even University of the Third Age. I teach luscious a cappella harmony by ear in fun, relaxed and inclusive workshops. I teach English Folk Fiddle and Ensemble Music Making Workshops. I also run Community Vox, an arts organisation which runs Guildford Vox Community Choir, SingFest and other community music events.
